Using student Groups

You can set up class groups via the Tutor Dashboard. 

  1. Go into the Tutor Dashboard via the "Tutor Dashboard" button on the course landing page
  2. Select the "All students" group
  3. Select the students you wish to group, using the checkboxes
  4. Add students to an existing group or create a new group via the "Add to group" drop down.

To remove students from a group, use the same process but instead select the Remove from group drop down.

You can use groups to represent your tutorials, or project groups, or anything else - whatever makes it easiest for you! Students can also belong to more than one group. 

You can also assign students to groups during the enrolment process
